Our Qing River Paddling Tour gives adventure kayakers a memorable experience as they paddle the Qingjiang Three Gorges, which consists of the Pingluo Gorge, Bashan Gorge and the Gap and boast some of the areas best river paddling adventures. We will visit the Qingjiang Hot Springs, Qingjiang Tianchi, the Milky Way and see some magnificent scenery!
Day 1 Badong, Hubei, Shuibuya Dam
Day 1 begins at the Shuibuya Dam in Badong County, Enshi, Hubei Province, China. Famous for being the tallest concrete face rock-fill dam in the world, the Shuibuya Dam provides electricity, promotes flood control, navigation, tourism and acts as a fishery.
Day 2Baodaoling, Zhadong, Misguiding, Shizidong, Xiangluyan
On Day 2, we start paddling in Qingjiang Three Gorges, through Banxia, Zhaolaihe, Yansongping and YuXiakou, experiencing the beautiful natural surroundings and seeing some of the area’s most breathtaking sites. We will paddle about 20KM on Day 2.
Day 3Siyangxi, Suofengwan, Tianchifeng, Linxiangxi
Day 3 offers the calm, clear waters of the Qingjiang Gorge, where we will visit the incense stone, Siyang Creek, the Tianchi River and Ziqiu. We will paddle about 20KM on Day 3.
Day 4Qingjiang Waterfall, Changtan River, Tujiazhai, Wuluozhongli Mountain
We begin Day 4 paddling from Ziqiu to Yazikou, where we will take a ferry to Changyang. With picturesque mountain views near Ziqiu, and beautiful waters near Ziqiu, this is the perfect opportunity for photography buffs to capture the essence of this expedition and the Qingjiang Gallery. We will paddle about 25KM on Day 4.
