Trip Overview
Located in the Anhui Province, Huangshan City is known for it rich cultural and architectural history. Our 4 Days Huangshan Cultural Exploration Student Tour immerses students in the ancient Hui culture this region is famous for. Tour ancient villages, local farms and tea plantations before departing for a hiking excursion where you will find some of the most breathtaking Huang Shan mountain views from high above in the clouds. This tour offers something for everyone and will become the foundation for your memories of this ancient land.
DAY 01: Arrive in Huangshan
You will arrive in Huangshan, Anhui province and meet your guide at the train station, then transfer to Xuanyuan Farm where students will learn to make bean curd, experience the process of oil, and pick vegetables. After a day of working the soil and becoming one with the farming process, students can relax and see the sites at Tunxi Ancient Street.
DAY 02: Lingshan Village / Back to Tunxi (BLD)
Students visit Lingshan Village and walk the Lingshan Ancient Water Street while admiring the Lingshan Zhu Hai bamboo grove which seem to surround the village. which is also called (Bamboo Forest). Students get the chance to try out their crafting skills by creating bamboo baskets, hats and dustpans before visiting the local tea plantation to experience the tea picking process. In the afternoon, students can visit a local school for a meet and greet with Huangshan students.
DAY 03: Hiking in the Yellow Mountain / Hongcun Ancient Village (BLD)
Students will hike the Yellow Mountain region and visit many of its beautiful sites which include the North Sea and West Sea area. Experience the seas of clouds, lush Pine trees and rolling mountainous trails. Students will then visit Hongcun Village and experience picturesque scenery shrouded by clouds and mist.
DAY: 04 Treasure Hunting in Hongcun / Hongcun Cycling Tour / Depart from Huangshan (BL)
Team building activities, treasure hunting and cycling round out the trip on Day 4 and give students a chance to work on their communication and teamwork skills to succeed. After a fun-filled morning of treasure hunting, students will bike along the Hongcun Ancient Pathway where they will be treated to the sounds and beauty of nature in its purest form. Upon completion of the tour, students will arrive at the Huangshan North Railway Station and take the high-speed train to Beijing.
