A young man from Pengshui, Chongqing, China is kayaking along the Chinese coastline all the way from north to south. One person kayaking in the unpredictable sea alone, most of us would be frightened just by thinking of it, but he is putting into action.

Junqing Tuo, champion of the first Red Bull Nu River fancy kayaking race, famous in China drifting. He has left footprint at a lot of well-known rapids, such as Nu River, Jinsha River, Dulong River…  Tuo and several drifting enthusiasts successfully kayak from Dongji Qingbang Isalnd to Zhoushan Zhangzhou Bay in the first Zhoushan ocean kayaking challenge in 2016.
Tuo had a new goal in 2017, cruise China 18000km coastline in a kayak! Tuo was fully involved in designing and making his kayak, trip planning, from survival material to electronic system, every detail has to be carefully planned, accurate every millimeter, every single pound.
Tuo’s kayak was completely finished by Sep 2nd 2017, and he started the trip on Sep 11th 2017, from the Northernmost part of China coastline – Yalujiang, Dandong, Liaoning into the sea. We wish Tuo a safe journey and an amazing experience.
