Trip Overview
Our 7 Day adventure through Shangri-la via cycle was designed for those who want to become a part of the Northern Yunnan landscape and experience China’s wildlife up close. We will cycle 4-6 hours per day and travel over breathtaking mountain passes, around alpine lakes and visit China’s famous Tiger Leaping Gorge. With moderate elevation changes, this excursion is challenging, but not impossible to accomplish. Cyclists will travel over flat, rolling and mountainous terrain and can stop along the way to take plenty of photographs to remember your experience by.
From Lijiang to Shangri-la in 7 days by cycle is the ultimate way to experience China’s Northern Yunnan region and to immerse yourself in the beauty and wilderness this area offers. Alternate transportation will be provided for cyclists who need to take a break or just want to relax and watch the scenery go by.
